PA State Trooper Charged With Aggravated Assault In Beating
The victim was reportedly beaten unconscious and had three bones in his face broken.
PENNSYLVANIA — A Pennsylvania state trooper has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after a fight at a home last weekend, officials announced.
Trooper Scott Myers, 34, was at a party inside a home in Summerhill Township in Cambria County on Saturday, Jan. 8.
It's not yet clear what caused the fight, which occurred in the early morning hours, but it involved another adult man, state police said.

Myers punched the man three times, knocking him unconscious and breaking bones in the man's face, Tribune Live reported.
Myers, a 2008 graduate of the 127th cadet class, works for the criminal investigation unit at Troop A, stationed in Edensburg. He has been suspended without pay as the investigation continues.

He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge John Prebish and was released on $30,000 bail.
Other charges include terroristic threats, harassment, and simple assault.
