Allentown officers, working with state police, issued numerous traffic citations and are asking residents to report illegal motorbike activity via the police desk or anonymous Tip411 options. 
2. Allentown City Council appoints Jasmine Salgado as interim city controller (lehighvalleylive.com) — Allentown residents have a new interim city controller: finance professional Jasmine Salgado, appointed Tuesday by City Council after a public application and interview process. She'll oversee the city's financial audits and spending through 2027, succeeding the late controller Jeff Glazier and becoming a history-making Latina leader in Allentown's fiscal oversight.
3. Is Lehigh Valley housing shortage improving? 4. Richard H. Watson (outerbanksvoice.com) — Family and friends are remembering Richard H. "Dick" Watson, born in Allentown in 1941 and a William Allen High graduate who built a long career in the steel industry. He once helped start the Allentown Police Department's River Rescue Division and remained active in aviation, scuba, and law enforcement before passing away Monday at his North Carolina home.
