Seven Wissahickon Alumni Inducted Into Hall Of Fame

7 alumni of Wissahickon HS were inducted into the school's Hall of Fame for outstanding academic, athletic, and professional achievements.

AMBLER, PA — Seven alumni of Wissahickon High School were inducted into the Hall of Fame last Thursday night for outstanding academic, athletic, and professional achievements, the school district announced.

Alumni were honored throughout the day on Oct. 6 as students had the opportunity to engage and learn from them.

  • William Freas '97
  • Kevin Witchey '81
  • Andreas H. Gaynor '89
  • Jennifer Carnahan Finn '90
  • Krista Simkins '05

Boudwin and fellow alumnus Patrick Hunnicutt '92 hosted an assembly featuring Newtown the Dragon and his Magic of Learning Show. Finn, meanwhile, spoke to choral students about the music industry. Alumni also presented to eighth graders and provided advice for their future success.

At the end of the day, the school unveiled the Wall of Honor in the Audion lobby. The Wall is an interactive display featuring biographies of the 143 previous inductees, staff alumni profiles, career spotlights, a future veteran alumni memorial, and more.
