Freshman Jeffrey Perlmutter will be featured as part of the National Down Syndrome Society's annual video presentation in Times Square.

AMBLER, PA — Wissahickon freshman Jeffrey Perlmutter will be featured as part of the National Down Syndrome Society's upcoming video presentation in Times Square in New York City.

The video, which will air on Sept. 15, highlights the important contributions of children, teens, and adults with Down syndrome, while also raising awareness.

Jeffrey's photo, taken at his bar mitzvah, was selected to be a part of the video by organizers. He stood out from more than 2,400 entries in a global call for photos, the school district said.
