2 Homes Burglarized In Lower Merion Township: Police

The homes that were targeted are in Ardmore and Villanova and were hit sometime between Sept. 22 and Sept. 24, police said.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Two homes in Lower Merion Township were victims of burglaries over the weekend, according to Lower Merion Police.

Police said a home in Ardmore and a home in Villanova were hit by burglars sometime between Friday, Sept. 22 and Sunday, Sept. 24.

In Ardmore, a home on the 200 block of Church Road was burglarized, police said.

Police said the burglar got inside possibly through an unlocked door, and once inside stole a Chanel purse.

Over in Villanova, a home on the 200 block of Matson's Circle was the target, police said.

The suspect or suspects got inside the home's garage, stole a bike and ransacked a vehicle after breaking into it, police said.
