5th Wynnewood Home Burglarized In Under 3 Weeks: Police

The home was hit during the afternoon on Tuesday, Aug. 16, police said.

WYNNEWOOD, PA – Another residential burglary has occurred in the Wynnewood section of Lower Merion Township, according to police.

Police said a home on the first block of Henley Road in Wynnewood was burglarized between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15.

Police said the suspect got inside by forcing a side door open.

Once inside, the suspect stole pocketbooks and jewelry, police said.

Recent burglary incidents have occurred on Aug. 9, Aug. 5, Aug. 1, and July 29 in the Wynnewood area.

A home on the 1000 block of Indian Creek Road in Wynnewod was burglarized at about 12:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9. The suspect stole cash, food, and a computer bag.

A vacant unit at the Palmer Apartments, 18 Lancaster Ave., was burglarized sometime between Aug. 4 and Aug. 5.

On Aug. 1, another Palmer Apartments unit was hit overnight and cash was stolen.

A home on Meredith Road was hit by a burglar at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29 and cash, as well as jewelry, were stolen in that incident.
