Belmont Ave. Closing Daily Through Sept. 8: PennDOT
Drivers will be routed to a detour as Aqua PA works in the area for two weeks.
LOWER MERION, PA – A portion of Belmont Avenue in Lower Merion Township will close daily for two weeks, according to PennDOT.
Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Belmont Avenue weekdays between Rock Hill Road and City Avenue in Lower Merion Township Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 8, PennDOT said.
The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for water main installation, according to PennDOT.

During construction, Belmont Avenue motorists will be detoured over Rock Hill Road, Route 23/Conshohocken State Road and City Avenue, PennDOT said.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because slowdowns will occur during construction.
