Belmont Ave. Closing Monday, Closure To Last 2 Weeks
Drivers will be detoured for two weeks during the week as Aqua PA crews work on water main extension.
LOWER MERION, PA – Belmont Avenue in Lower Merion Township is set to close daily for two weeks beginning Monday, July 29m PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, Aqua PA will be closing Belmont Avenue between Rock Hill Road and City Avenue during the week through Friday, Aug. 11.
The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, PennDOT said.

While the road is closed, drivers will be detoured over Rock Hill Road, Conshohocken State Road, and City Avenue.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone, according to PennDOT.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because slowdowns will occur during construction.
The work schedule is weather dependent.
