Burglar Climbs Kid's Play Set To Break Into Home: Lower Merion Police​

The crime occurred in the Villanova area sometime between Aug. 24 and Aug. 28, police said.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – A burglar hit a Lower Merion Township residence recently and got inside the home by climbing a child's play set to reach a second floor window, according to Lower Merion Township Police.

Police said the crime occurred sometime between Aug. 24 and Aug. 28 at a residence on the 400 block of Spring Mill Road in the Villanova section of the township.

Police said the suspect climbed a child's play set to get on top of the home's garage, then got inside the home through a second-floor window.

Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry and a lock box, police said.
