City Ave. Lanes Closing Wed. Through Friday In Lower Merion

LOWER MERION, PA – Right lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound City Avenue in Lower Merion Township, according to PennDOT.

The road will close between Lancaster Avenue and Kings Grant Drive in Philadelphia and Lower Merion for work on the $2.9 million project to improve travel and safety on a three-mile section of City Avenue between Interstate 76 and U.S. 30, PennDOT said.

Closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, July 7.

Crews will be working on traffic signal installations, PennDOT said.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather.
