City Ave. North, South Lanes Closing Next Week: PennDOT

City Avenue in Lower Merion will again be affected by PennDOT work this week, with lane closures coming to both north and southbound travel lanes daily. The closures will be in place to accommodate work on PennDOT's $2.9 million safety improvement project.

The right lanes of City Avenue's north and south travel lanes will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday, April 17 to Friday, April 21.

The closures will be in effect between Wynnewood Rood and Old Lancaster Road/54th Street, PennDOT said.

Crews will be working on traffic signal upgrades and curb ramp installations, PennDOT said.

Motorists should plan for added travel time when driving through the area.
