City Ave., Wynnewood Road Affected By Work Next Week
Line painting and utility work will hinder traffic in a few spots in Lower Merion Township.

LOWER MERION, PA – PennDOT announced two projects that will affect traffic on two Lower Merion Township roads soon.
First, lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound City Avenue between Lancaster Avenue and Presidential Boulevard in Philadelphia and Lower Merion Township.
The work is set to be done between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday, May 14 and Monday, May 15, PennDOT said.

Crews will be working on line painting operations related to the $2.9 million safety improvement project to improve travel and safety on a three-mile section of City Avenue between Interstate 76 and Lancaster Ave., according to PennDOT.
Also, the Lower Merion Township Authority is planning weekday lane restrictions on Wynnewood Road between Penn Road and Wynnewood Avenue.

The restrictions will be in effect between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, May 15, through Friday, May 26, PennDOT said.
Crews will be working on utility installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas and should consider alternate routes.
The schedule for both projects is dependent on the weather.
