City Avenue Lane Closures Scheduled For Monday In Lower Merion
Crews will be working on travel and safety improvements as part of a $2.9 million PennDOT project.

PennDOT announced lane closures that will affect Lower Merion Township and part of Philadelphia next week as crews work on PennDOT's safety improvement project.
According to PennDOT, closures are scheduled on north and southbound City Avenue (U.S. route 1) between Conshohocken State Road (state Route 23) and Kings Grant Drive in Philadelphia.
The closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 20.

The work schedule is weather dependent, PennDOT said.
Crews from Armour & Sons Electric Inc., of Langhorne will be working on traffic signal upgrades and curb ramp installations related to a $2.9 million safety improvement project.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area or consider alternate routes.
