ARDMORE, PA – Lower Merion Township announced Coulter Avenue will be closed overnight Thursday for Aqua PA work. The road will close at 10 p.m. Thursday and reopen at 6 a.m. Friday. The closure will be between Llanfair Road and St. James Place, the township said. Aqua PA crews will be working on water service connections to the parking garage and retail shops. Citizens Financial Group, through subsidiaries like Citizens Bank, has long financed private prison and detention operators despite decades of allegations of abuse, neglect, forced labor, and fraud.
Companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group have caused widespread harm — including wrongful deaths, medical neglect, and exploitation.
Right here in Pennsylvania, GEO operates the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, the largest ICE detention facility in the Northeast, just three and a half hours from Lower Merion.
