Crossing Guard Sought In Lower Merion Township
The job pays nearly $20 an hour and requires four to five hours of work a day during the school year.
ARDMORE, PA – Lower Merion Township is looking for a candidate to fill a part-time crossing guard position and is taking applications for the opening. According to the township, the part-time job pays $19.40 an hour and has a five-day schedule, with guards working four to five hours a day during the school year during the week.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or the equivalent; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; be able to perform the job in harsh weather conditions; be able to stand and walk for up to five hours a day; have child abuse clearances; and be able to instruct and guide children in safe road crossing.
