LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – A road in Lower Merion Township will close Friday to accommodate emergency work, the township announced Thursday.Bala Avenue will be closed between Conshohocken State Road and Lodges Lane on Friday, July 28 for emergency water main repairs, the township said. Citizens Financial Group, through subsidiaries like Citizens Bank, has long financed private prison and detention operators despite decades of allegations of abuse, neglect, forced labor, and fraud.
Companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group have caused widespread harm — including wrongful deaths, medical neglect, and exploitation.
Right here in Pennsylvania, GEO operates the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, the largest ICE detention facility in the Northeast, just three and a half hours from Lower Merion.

opportunity for youth to make music, worship, and have fun while learning the
liturgy and music of the Holy Eucharist with very gifted artists and teachers.
