Former Macy's, Residence In Lower Merion Burglarized: Police

The suspect or suspects took copper pipes and fitting from the old Macy's location in Suburban Square.

Lower Merion Township Police are reporting two burglaries that occurred in the township recently, with one being a residence and the other being the vacant Macy's store in Suburban Square.

According to police, a home on the 300 block of Righter's Ferry Road in Bala Cynwyd was burglarized sometime between March 24 and March 28.

Police said the suspect or suspects got inside the residence by breaking a window, but police said there was no loss to the residents in the incident.

Also between March 24 and March 28, police said the former Macy's location in Suburban Square was burglarized.

How the suspect or suspects got inside the building is unknown and police said the suspect or suspects stole copper pipe and fittings while inside the building.
