Haverford Crime Blotter: Robbery, Fraud, Vandalism
A 14-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man were charged after police said they robbed a person of a bike the victim was looking to sell.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Township Police issued their weekly crime blotter recently.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between April 1 and April 6.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Fraud at the 400 block of Langhorne Avenue on April 1 at 3:11 p.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to fraudulently cash one of his checks.
- Robbery at the 1300 block of West Chester Pike on April 2 at 10:43 p.m. – Victim reported that he was assaulted and his bicycle was stolen by two males. He had agreed to meet the males to sell them his bicycle. 14-year-old male and 40-yearold male were charged.
- Fraud at the TD Bank, 100 block of West Eagle Road, on April 2 at 5:38 p.m. – A bank employee reported that an unknown male displayed a fake identification and attempted to withdraw money from an account. The suspect fled when the teller questioned him.
- Attempted Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on April 3 at 11:15 a.m. – An unknown male attempted to steal $400 worth of groceries.
- Fraud at the 1300 block of Robinson Avenue on April 3 at 9:39 p.m. – Victim reported that over $11,000 was withdrawn from her checking account using withdraw slips and fake identification.
- Vandalism at the 400 block of Earlington Road on April 4 at 2:16 p.m. – A group of juveniles were running around the area pulling signs from yards.
- Fraud at the 2100 block of Darby Creek Road on April 5 at 10:10 a.m. – Victim reported several unauthorized payments made through Google Pay.
- Fraud at the unit block of Colonial Road on April 5 at 2:45 p.m. – Victim received a message from a man claiming to be from Microsoft. He advised her that her computer was corrupted and she would need to send him $300 to fix it. The caller did request an additional $1,500 when he received the $300.
- Theft at the 1300 block of Edgewood Road on April 6 at 2:13 p.m. - Victim reported that someone stole a check he had mailed, altered and attempted to cash it.
ARRESTS:
- 38-year-old male, 100 block of East Knowlton Road, Media. Charges: DUI, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: West Township Line Road and Drexel Avenue Date: March 31 at 9:11 p.m.
- 33-year-old male, 400 block of Broadway Avenue, Clifton Heights. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Location: 200 block of Strathmore Road Date: April 1 at 4:21 p.m.
- 40-year-old male, 500 block of Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill. Charges: Robbery, possession of a firearm, theft by unlawful taking and simple assault. Location: 1300 block of West Chester Pike Date: April 2 at 10:43 p.m.
