How To Commend A Lower Merion Police Officer

If you've ever gotten help from a Lower Merion Police Officer, you may want to learn how to properly commend them.

ARDMORE, PA – If you have had a particularly memorable interaction with members of the Lower Merion Township Police Department, you should let them know.

You can commend officers who have helped you in any way.

Anyone who wants to commend an officer is encouraged to contact the department's Staff and Inspections Unit at (610) 645-6250 on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

You can also send a brief note to the attention of the Superintendent of Police who will ensure that the officer receives a copy of your letter.

Letters or notes can be sent by email to police@lowermerion.org or by mail to Township of Lower Merion Police Department, 71 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, Pennsylvania 19003.

Conversely, residents can file complaints.

You can report a complaint in person, by letter, or by phone. Complaints can be kept anonymous.

During weekend and evening hours, you may contact the Communications Center at (610) 649-1000 and request an on-duty police supervisor.

You may also use a complaint form available online here and submit it via e-mail to police@lowermerion.org, conventional mail, or drop it off at the police station.
