I-76 Lanes Closing Nightly All Week: PennDOT

Overnight lane closures are scheduled next week on eastbound and westbound Interstate 76 between Interstate 476 and City Avenue in Lower Merion Township, PennDOT said.

The work schedule is:

• Sunday, Aug. 13, through Wednesday, Aug. 16, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound and westbound I-76 between I-476 and U.S. 1 (City Avenue);

• Thursday, Aug. 17, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the morning of Friday, Aug. 18, lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound I-76 between I-476 and U.S. 1 (City Avenue); and

• Friday, Aug. 18, and Saturday, Aug. 19, from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. the following morning, lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound I-76 between I-476 and U.S. 1 (City Avenue).

All scheduled activities are weather dependent. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow extra time when traveling on I-76 in the work area because backups and delays will occur.
