Lower Merion Gives Cricket Avenue, One Ardmore Place Work Update

With work on Cricket Avenue and the One Ardmore Place project underway, Lower Merion Township announced some updates to the work that could affect you in the coming days.

According to the township, Cricket Avenue is open fully Tuesday with crews working on Haws Terrace for sewer line work.

But Cricket Avenue will be closed part of Wednesday, starting at 7 a.m., for paving restoration, the township said.

Traffic will be affected as the intersection at Cricket Terrace will need to be closed for a portion of this day. The township said motorists will see signage pointing out the closures.

Cricket Avenue will reopen Thursday with paving going on on Haws Terrace.

Friday, March 31 will see cleanup of the Cricket Avenue parking lot to prepare for the closure, then on Monday, April 3 a fence will be installed around the lot and the lot's decommissioning will begin.
