Lower Merion, Other Philly Area Police Departments Partaking In Race For Peace Forum Saturday
The forum will be held at Sister Clara Muhammad School in Philadelphia and will focus on race and policing.

Lower Merion Police will be joining representatives from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties Saturday, Feb. 26 for the Race for Peace Forum in Philadelphia.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Sister Clara Muhammad School Philadelphia Masjid, 4700 Wyalusing Ave., Philadelphia, members of law enforcement, clergy, government and citizens to hold candid conversations about race and policing in a collaborative environment.
"Communication, understanding and trust are forged during times of PEACE,not during times of conflict and stress," the forum description says. "The Race for Peace Committee comprises representatives from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties who are actively working together to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve."

Registration for the event begins at 9:15 a.m. the day of the event.
