Lower Merion Street Sweeping Continuing Into Next Week After Heavy Rains Cause Delay

The last day of sweeping is set for Wednesday, April 5, but the schedule is weather dependent.

The street sweeping planned for Lower Merion Township this week has been extended into next week due to heavy rains earlier in the week, the township said.

The sweeping continued Wednesday, March 29 and will be ongoing through Friday, March 31.

From Monday, April 3 to Wednesday, April 5 the sweeping will continue again, the township said.

As always, the sweeping is dependent on weather and equipment, the township said.

Residents are asked to not to park on along curbs if and when possible during sweeping operations.

Additionally, raking lawn clippings into the street is not permitted, and piles of grass, leaves and debris on the curb line will not be swept, according to the township.
