Lower Merion Twp., Surrounding Neighborhoods Among Best PA Suburbs According to Niche

Niche.com released its list of the best suburbs to live in in Pennsylvania, and Chester County fared quite well.

Niche's rankings are based on "location, including the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area."

So how did Lower Merion and its neighborhoods do on the list?

Ardmore was the listed at the fifth best suburb in PA, according to the website.

Lower Merion Township itself was ranked sixth while the Penn Wynne area was ranked seventh.

Nearby, Chesterbrook and Tredyffrin were listed as the best and second best suburbs in Pennsylvania, respectively.

Narberth was ranked third and Devon was ranked fourth, respectively.
