PennDOT Work To Affect Interstate 76 In Upper, Lower Merion Townships Next Week

PennDOT said part of Instate 76 will be restricted next week due to road sweeping.

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 3 through Jan. 5, I-76 east and west will have intermittent lane closures for the work, according to PennDOT.

The work will affect the interstate between City Avenue/U.S. Route 1 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lower Merion and Upper Merion townships, as well as West Conshohocken Borough.

Drivers traveling through this area should allow extra time when heading into the area or consider an alternate route.
