There are 457 Trader Joes scattered throughout the United States.

Most other towns around the area also voted for Whole Foods in second or third place behind Trader Joe’s. There’s already a Whole Foods not too far away in Devon, so it’s not as much of a concern for Ardmore. In fact, that Whole Foods could explain Ardmore serving as a statistical anomaly in not selecting Trader Joe’s.

Furthermore, preserving local stores and a downtown feel may be seen as crucial to maintaining the cultural integrity of the Main Line.
