Right Lanes Of South, Northbound City Ave. Closing Next Week: PennDOT​

PennDOT announced closures that will affect Lower Merion Township next week as crews work on the $2.9 million safety improvement project. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, March 27 to Friday, March 31, City Avenue/U.S. Route 1, will have the right lane of both north and southbound traffic closed, PennDOT said.

The closures will be between Lapsley Lane and Bala Avenue, PennDOT said.

Motorist should plane for extra travel time when heading through the work area. Motorists may also want to consider alternate routes.

The work schedule is weather dependent.
