See Lower Merion's Temporary Parking Plan For Ardmore
The number of off-street parking lots spaces is dropping by more than 100 in the temporary plan.
Lower Merion Township released a temporary parking plan for the township's Ardmore section.
With work on One Ardmore Place and the Cricket Avenue parking lot underway, the township is adjusting parking in the area to accommodate the construction and those looking to spend time in Ardmore.
Some of the highlights of the proposed temporary parking plan include:

- Additional enforcement of parking regulations implemented throughout the area;
- Added 41 spaces in Temporary Cricket Lot (through December 31, 2017);
- Added 5 spaces to Ardmore West Lot (Lot 16) through re-striping;
- Added 3 new metered spaces on Rittenhouse Place;
- Added 4 new metered space on Cricket Terrace;
- Designated 2 spaces on Cricket Avenue as 15-minute meters;
- No meters in post-office lot (Lot 3);
- Lot 23 (Cricket Avenue South) will remain all permit parking;
- Ardmore & Lancaster Avenue Parking Lot-Currently negotiating a lease with the property owner;
- 12 hour meters in Schauffele Plaza will be converted to 2 hour meters on Thursday, March 23;
- Parking Department will monitor parking for adjustments throughout the construction project.
The plan cuts available parking spaces by 109, with 104 of those nixed spots being in off-street lots.
However, the Township Administration Building and Police Lot provides more than 100 additional spaces Thursdays and Fridays after 4 p.m. and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
