Truck Gets Stuck Under Bridge In Ardmore

The truck has since been freed from the Anderson Avenue bridge, but the road will remain closed for a period of time.

ARMDORE, PA – A commercial truck got stuck under the Anderson Avenue bridge in Ardmore Friday according to Lower Merion Township.

The accident closed Anderson Avenue between Lancaster and Montgomery Avenues, the township said.

Main Line Media News reports the truck has since been freed, but the road will remain closed for a portion of the afternoon Friday.

The bridge carries SEPTA and Amtrak lines. The outlet reports train service is still operational.
