Work Affecting City, Lancaster Avenues Next Week In Lower Merion
Work continues on the safety improvement project, as well as on a $5.4 million resurfacing project in the township.

LOWER MERION, PA – PennDOT said City and Lancaster avenues will be affected by work on two major projects in the township next week.
PennDOT said City Avenue in Lower Merion Township will be restricted nightly for several days to accommodate work related to safety improvements.
City Avenue will see restrictions of both north and south travel lanes between Lancaster Avenue and Presidential Boulevard.

The restrictions will go into effect daily from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday May 7 through Thursday, May 11, PennDOT said.
Crews will be working on line painting related to the $2.9 million safety improvement project along City Avenue, PennDOT said.

Additionally, Lancaster Avenue will see lane restrictions between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 12.
The restrictions will be in effect between Church Road and City Avenue.
Crews will be working on paving as part of a $5.4 million project to repair and resurface 24 miles of state highway in Montgomery County, PennDOT said
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas. The work schedules are dependent on the weather.
