Wynnewood Man Graduates from Montgomery County Municipal Police Academy
Future of the force: 30 cadets have graduated from Montgomery County's Municipal Police Academy. Congratulations, students!

A total of 30 cadets graduated from the Municipal Police Academy on Wednesday, Montgomery County Community College announced.
Warrington Township Police Department Sergeant Kenneth Hawthorn, a 1991 graduate of the Academy, served as the class-selected keynote speaker, the school said. During his speech, Hawthorn addressed the challenges the graduates face entering police work.
“This job is not getting easier, it’s getting harder,” Hawthorn said, according to a press release on the ceremony. “You’re about to jump into the deep end of the swimming pool. This Academy is one of the finest in the Commonwealth. I know it’s okay to sleep at night knowing that this is the next generation of police officers.”
