American Girl Fashion Show Next Weekend !

This fun and engaging program showcases historical and contemporary fashions for girls and their dolls. The event includes a plated lunch, dessert, party favors, a raffle, and door prizes. Tickets are $55 per person for regular seating, and $70 per person for VIP seating, which includes a free raffle ticket.

Approximately 125 models from the local community will present the fashions, while lively commentary, music, and decorations help create a memorable experience for girls and their families. Audiences will delight in historical clothing, from daywear to sleepwear to special-occasion clothing that resembles what popular historical American Girl® characters might have worn. Contemporary Girl of the Year® and My American Girl® outfits for girls ages eight and up and sweet Bitty Baby® fashions for little girls complete the program. A variety of new fashions for the 2015 season will also debut at the show.

Funds raised through the American Girl Fashion Show® benefit the League’s Apple a Day Healthy Living InitiativeTM. The Apple a DayTM is a multi-tiered community initiative with the goal of creating a positive impact on the health and wellness of adults and children in the Greater Philadelphia area. Currently, over 17 million children are food insecure, and nearly one in three children in our region lives in poverty and do not know when or where they will receive their next nutritious meal. The Apple a Day HealthyTM is the Junior League of Philadelphia’s response to this alarming community need.
