Synopsis:
It is the 1930s/40s. Broadway acting legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne are rehearsing for a production of Chekhov’s The Seagull at their Wisconsin estate. When a talented young actress named Uta Hagen arrives, professional jealousies and bruised egos take center stage. The result is a funny and revealing look at the private lives of great artists who never really leave the stage.
