On Thursday, December 17 at 11:00 AM, adults 55 and over are invited to join former Librarian Chris Jackson--and fellow book-lovers--in a stimulating discussion of “The Golden Compass,” a masterwork of storytelling and suspense by Philip Pullman. The story centers around an orphaned ward named Lyra Belacqua, whose carefree life among the scholars at Oxford’s Jordan College is shattered by the arrival of two powerful visitors.
The book can be obtained in the Narberth Library. Afterwards stay for a delicious lunch provided by Betty the Caterer for only $2. Stop by 100 Conway Avenue, 2nd floor, Narberth to sign-up, or call 610-664-2366
