Bugs in Books - Insect Adventures While Writing for Kids @ Belmont Hills Library/ Saturday, November 8th from 1-2pm
Author and photographer, Doug Wechsler, will take families along on some of his adventures delving into the lives of insects.
Doug Wechsler is the author and photographer of Bizarre Bugs and 21 other books for children on birds, snakes, frogs, vernal pools and salt marshes. His photographs have appeared in hundreds of publications such as Ranger Rick, Audubon, and National Geographic. Wechsler is the Director of VIREO, the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University’s worldwide collection of bird photographs. He has travele d around the world photographing birds, bugs, and rain forests.
