The Haverford College field hockey coaching staff and players would like to invite you to our indoor field hockey clinic. This clinic will provide quality instruction for players and goalies. Players will get the chance to work on stick skills, passing, receiving, shooting and quickness. Goal keepers will work on their footwork, reaction time and goalie technique.

Clinic Schedule:

12 p.m. : Registration, Gardner Integrated Athletic Center lobby

12:30-3 p.m. : Field Hockey Clinic led by Haverford coaching staff and players in Alumni Field House

12:30-12:50 p.m. : Dynamic warm-up led by players and coaches

The players will take you through our daily pre-practice dynamic warm-up made sports-specific by Cory Walts, Haverford College Strength & Conditioning Coach

12:50-1:10 p.m. : Players: Stick skills and quickness with stick and ball, defense

GK’s: Quick footwork drills (ladder and cones)

1:10-2 p.m.: Stations (10 minutes each station)

Passing and receiving, stationary and on the move

One-v-One’s: skills and competitive games

Two-v-One’s: skills and competitive games

Shooting: sweeps and drag flicks (on GK’s)

One-v-One (Player v GK) (breakaway situations)
