Members of the Friends of Gorgas Park are spreading Christmas joy this year by collecting unwrapped toys for needy children. Will you help us?

Please bring and donate an unwrapped toy for a needy child and join us on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 6 pm in Roxborough’s beautiful Gorgas Park [6300 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19128] for our annual Christmas Caroling Event.

Continue the tradition with your family or start a new one! Bring your cell phone and pose for a “Selfie” with Santa. Maybe you will see a reindeer or two playing in the park. Enjoy hot chocolate, fresh cookies, fun, and more!

“O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, Thy leaves are so unchanging.” There will be opportunities to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a live Christmas tree. Five Christmas Trees, donated by Chris Myers, will be raffled to benefit Gorgas Park.
