Healthy Tuesday Talk at New Horizons: Understanding Your Meds

In this Health Literacy Program, with Leslie Burrell, Sr. External Affairs Associate, Gateway Health, participants will discuss how to best benefit from their medication. When used properly, medication can not only help us enjoy healthier and longer life, but can also decrease your health care costs. Discuss types of medication, questions to ask your doctor and helpful tips for effective use of medication. New Horizons Senior Center, your local community resource for active adults 55 and older, is now located in the hub of Narberth, at Narberth Borough Hall, 100 Conway Avenue, 2nd Floor. The Center is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and serves meals daily at Noon. Since 1976, New Horizons has been providing a wide array of programs and services to appeal to the interests, talents, and desires of local seniors, keeping them active, engaged, and independent.
