Hispanic Cultural Heritage Month 2014: Dr. Agnes Moncy
Villanova University celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with a series of cultural events.
Please join us at Villanova University on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 3:00 p.m. in room 204 of Falvey Memorial Library for a talk in hono of Hispanic Cultural Heritage Month by Agnes Moncy, PhD, professor of Spanish in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Temple University. Dr. Moncy will talk about El Greco, one of Spain’s most famous painters. This event is being held to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Doménikos Theotokópoulos, also known as El Greco (1541– 1614).
This event, co-sponsored by Falvey Memorial Library, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, Sigma Delta Pi and the Hispanic Honor Society, is free and open to the public.
