Narberth Man's Accused Killer Heads To Court Thursday
John Le's alleged killer, 24-year-old Derrick Rollins, will answer to charges of homicide, murder, aggravated assault, and more this week.

NARBERTH, PA – The man accused of killing 29-year-old John Le of Narberth in July is set to appear in court this week for a preliminary hearing, according to court documents.
Derrick Hershal Rollins, 24, of Philadelphia, will appear in court on Thursday, Oct. 26 for his preliminary hearing on charges of criminal homicide; first, second, and third degree murder; aggravated assault; prohibited possession of a firearm; robbery; and more in connection with 29-year-old John Le's death in Haverford Township.
The fatal shooting occurred at about 6 p.m. Saturday, July 28 at an apartment on the 2300 block of Haverford Road in the Ardmore section of the township.

About 45 minutes before Le's death, Rollins also allegedly fired numerous rounds at two men in Philadelphia's Overbrook neighborhood.

Rollins fled the area sometime after the killing and was later taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in DeKalb County Georgia on Tuesday, Aug. 22.
He was later extradited to Philadelphia, then Delaware County to answer to his charges and appeared at his preliminary arraignment on Sept. 6 in Delaware County.
Rollins remains behind bars after being denied bail at his Sept. 6 court appearance.
