THRIVE EARLY EDUCATION CENTER OFFERS LITERACY PROGRAMS TO YOUNG STUDENTS ON THE MAIN LINE

Thrive Provides Support to Young Readers and Writers through Workshops, Small Group Learning and After School Tutoring

Thrive Early Education Center programs offer young students in Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grades an opportunity to focus on the advancement of their reading and writing skills in a supportive, motivating, learning environment. Pre-K & Kindergarten literacy workshops offer parents an opportunity to extend their child’s school day beyond the half day pre-school and/or Kindergarten program.

Winter session begins on January 5th with 90-minute, morning & afternoon Pre-K and Kindergarten workshops as well as after-school small group and one-on-one tutoring for students 1st-6th grades. The Winter program runs 12 weeks ending March 27th with flexible scheduling options. All registered students will be entered to win a $150 program credit.

Founded by Bridget Nolen, a former teacher in Tredyffrin-Easttown School District, a reading and literacy specialist, and a professional developer, she holds a Masters degree in Literacy from West Chester University.

Ms. Nolen believes, “The equation for the ideal learning environment for kids is a simple one: quality books and classroom design paired with a differentiated (not scripted) curriculum and an exemplary, supportive teacher equals academic success for kids.” This is the formula for success of her Thrive programs.
