Juniper Village at Bucks County Earns Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s Excellence in Dementia Care

[Bensalem, PA] – Juniper Village at Bucks County is honored to announce that the community has received the Excellence in Care Dementia Care Program of Distinction certification from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA). This designation reflects the community’s outstanding achievements in providing person-centered care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

The certification follows a comprehensive, in-person evaluation by AFA experts, who reviewed key quality indicators such as training, safety, resident engagement, environment, and nutrition. Juniper’s care model was recognized for its excellence across the board, especially its ability to combine structure with warmth, professionalism with compassion.

“The AFA onsite survey evaluates all facets of our memory care program and is awarded by industry experts. Reviewers highlighted the community’s vibrant daily programming that encourages purpose, autonomy, and connection. Associates were consistently observed supporting residents with empathy and attentiveness, creating a space where dignity, choice, and emotional well-being are deeply honored. Dining services were also commended for using visual tools and adaptive equipment to support meaningful mealtime experiences.
