Three Bethlehem companies are on a list of the 5,000-fastest growing put out by Inc. magazine

Bethlehem has three companies on Inc. magazine's 2012 list of fastest-growing businesses in the country:

Puritan Products (ranked 2,467): Specializes in manufacturing high purity chemicals and custom blended chemical formulations. Its primary markets include pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and microelectronics.

  • Revenue: $20.8 million
  • Employees: 38

I & I Software (ranked 3,362): Offers IT consulting for insurance companies, financial firms, health care organizations, online companies, and utilities.

  • 3-4-year growth: 58%
  • Revenue: $8.2 million
  • Employees: 65

Rotating Machinery Services (ranked 4,066): Performs a wide range of services on turbomachinery, including; reliability improvements, performance optimization, repair, component replacement and supply of upgraded/overhauled surplus equipment. Repowers turbomachinery and supplies custom designed equipment skids and lube oil systems.
