• FDA: Saline Bags Recalled Nationwide Over Particles That Could Cause Life-Threatening Complications (iskynews.com) — A Bethlehem-based company, B. Braun Medical, is recalling three lots of 0.9% sodium chloride IV bags after particles like iron oxide and other materials were found in the solution. While the saline was distributed nationwide, local residents who work in healthcare or receive IV treatments should note the affected catalog and lot numbers and contact providers or the FDA's MedWatch program with concerns.
   

• Burkart, Bethlehem Catholic football reclaim momentum to earn 5th straight win over Central (lehighvalleylive.com) — Bethlehem Catholic's football team, representing your hometown, pulled out a dramatic 35-24 win over Allentown Central Catholic after surrendering a 21-point lead. Quarterback Axel Burkart threw four touchdowns, including a momentum-shifting deep strike, while the Golden Hawks' late, clock-chewing drive and stout defense secured their fifth straight victory in this intense Holy War rivalry matchup.
   

• Diane L. O'Brien (rutherfordsource.com) — A 79-year-old woman who was born in Bethlehem has passed away in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, leaving behind daughters, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Her obituary notes there will be no services for now and suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, offering Bethlehem-connected readers a way to honor her life from afar.
