• Musikfest arrests more than doubled from last year. What the numbers show (mcall.com) — Bethlehem police say arrests at this year's Musikfest rose to 37, more than double last year, though most were minor offenses and no major incidents occurred. Officers handled 178 calls, largely on the North Side, and most people arrested came from outside the city, underscoring both the festival's regional draw and the department's focus on keeping it safe.
   

• Lehigh names Anand Ramamurthi Associate Dean for Global Engineering Initiatives (americanbazaaronline.com) — Lehigh University in Bethlehem has promoted bioengineering professor Anand Ramamurthi to a new role as Associate Dean for Global Engineering Initiatives, expanding the Rossin College's international reach. His work will shape global research partnerships and create more overseas learning and internship opportunities for Lehigh students, strengthening the university's profile from right here in Bethlehem.
   

• Recall alert: B. Braun calls back Excel Lactated Ringers Injection (wsbtv.com) — A Bethlehem-based medical manufacturer, B. Braun Medical Inc., is voluntarily recalling one lot of its Excel Lactated Ringers Injection due to particulate contamination that could pose serious health risks if used. The affected 1,000-milliliter bags, lot J4H077 expiring Nov. 30, 2026, were distributed to hospitals across North America, and customers are urged to return them and contact the company with questions.
