Common App & Essay Bootcamp (Aug 10-12)
Seniors: Get it Done Before School Starts!
July's Bootcamp was a huge success! Now, The College Studio is offering one more chance to complete your Common App & Essay with in-person experts before school starts.
In just THREE EVENINGS – students:
- Complete the Common App.
- Write a strong essay (with one-on-one guidance).
- Gain strategic insight to spotlight strengths and experiences.
- Receive technical direction on topics like Early Decision.
Led by certified college admissions counselors Katie Fisher and Mary Lamb, bootcamp students complete their college application efficiently and correctly, without the stress and procrastination that often accompany the process.
The last session of this summer will be at the new Doylestown Recreation Center:
- August 10-12 (5:00-8:00 pm)
"Last summer and this July, we had students arrive with blank Common Apps and leave with completed applications and strong essays just a few days later," says Fisher. "Their productivity and engagement were incredible.”
Students from the 2025 Bootcamp are now heading to top-choice colleges to pursue majors in nursing, business, architecture, engineering, and more.
The program also earned enthusiastic reviews from parents.
"You saved me many sleepless nights and fights with my child. Bootcamp was a great way to tackle this project," wrote one parent.

The College Studio Common App & Essay Bootcamp combines the expertise of two experienced admissions professionals.
Fisher, a College & Career Counselor in a Pennsylvania school district with a master's degree in Counselor Education from the University of Virginia, specializes in application strategy, admissions planning, and Common App guidance.
Lamb, a journalist, essay specialist, and Certified College Admissions Counselor, helps students identify meaningful topics and craft authentic essays that stand out in the admissions process.
"What makes our partnership work so well is that we approach the application from different but complementary perspectives," says Fisher. "Working with both of us simultaneously, students not only get their Common App finished, but they can also be confident it’s done really well.”
