• Senator Steve Santarsiero and Representative Tim Brennan Announce Almost $3,000,000 in Grants for Doylestown, New Hope Area (pasenate.com) — Chalfont Borough residents will see improved police communications thanks to state funding for new portable radios used by Central Bucks Regional Police. The nearly $3 million grant package also supports nearby fire companies, Doylestown Hospital, libraries, museums, parks, and police departments across Bucks County, upgrading safety equipment, community spaces, and emergency response tools in the broader region.
   

• Former police chief recalls 2009 arrest of man linked to Philly house of horrors (6abc.com) — Investigators are reexamining a 2009 case at a Chalfont home tied to a man now central to a disturbing Philadelphia missing-women investigation. A former New Britain Township police chief recalls arresting Raymond Horsch there and finding marijuana plants, firearms, and women's IDs, while authorities say they have not yet searched the Chalfont property but plan further searches in Philadelphia.
