A List of Staff Openings at Chestnut Hill Public Schools

The School District of Philadelphia has a list of vacant openings on its website at its schools for the 2011-12 school year.

The district announced yesterday it's going to contact 325 teachers this week who were previously laid off and will offer them placement in schools. It has a total of 1,335 positions that need to be filled.

Other laid off teachers may be offered positions in the future, according to the district.

Here are the Chestnut Hill schools that have openings:

- Six special education learning support teachers
- One life skills support teacher
- One teacher for handicapped/multi-skills support
