J.J. Murphy will be the featured speaker at the last Center for Enrichment Literary Salon of the
season. Thursday, May 8 at 7 pm in the Chestnut Hill Hotel Bombay Room. Mr. Murphy is an award-winning health care
writer in Pennsylvania
and a long-time Dorothy Parker fan. He has published three novels as part of The
Algonquin Round Table Mysteries : You Might As Well Die, Murder
Your Darlings, and A Friendly Game of Murder, plus a short story Hair
of the Dog. Books will be available for purchase.
The Chestnut Hill Hotel is located at 8229 Germantown Avenue.There is no fixed admission fee, but donations to support all CHCE programs for older adults will be gratefully accepted. If you dine at the Chestnut Grill & Sidewalk Café (also in the hotel) before or after this program, ask your server to deduct 10% from the food portion of your bill and it will be done.
