This workshop will take you on a journey through your paintbox exploring the properties of prismatics, earth colors, transparent colors, opaques, a variety of whites, as well as the distinctive characteristics of certain paint brands. We'll compare the way colors behave when mixed and complete tonal studies matching the paint to what we observe. Through these investigations, students will create paint swatches and a chart of notes and recipes for future reference.
